Terms of use
Service
Cal converts user-submitted content into suggested Google Calendar events. Users remain responsible for reviewing important dates, event details, links, locations, and account permissions. Estimated times are identified in the event description when the source provides only an approximate time.
Accounts and authorization
Users must control the email address used for sign-in and the Google account they connect. Calendar authorization is optional but required for automatic event creation. Device credentials must not be shared and can be revoked in Settings.
User content
Users retain their rights in submitted content and authorize the limited processing needed to provide Cal. Users must have the right to submit that content and must not upload unlawful material or another person's sensitive information without authorization.
Acceptable use
Do not use the services unlawfully, interfere with their operation, probe other users' data, bypass limits or security controls, automate abusive traffic, or submit malicious files or URLs.
Availability and changes
The service may change and is provided without a guaranteed service level. Features may be corrected, limited, suspended, or discontinued when necessary for safety, legality, maintenance, or reliable operation.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cal is provided without guarantees that extracted details will always be complete or correct. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
Termination
Users can stop using Cal, disconnect Google Calendar, and delete their account at any time. Access may be limited for material abuse, security threats, or legal requirements.
Governing law
Austrian law applies where legally permitted. Mandatory consumer protections and mandatory jurisdiction rules remain unaffected.
